Basic uses for Bacon One Spice®

 Popcorn, when popping old fashion style in a pot on the stove use coconut oil it works best.  Sprinkle Smoky Bacon One Spice® after pouring melted butter over hot cooked popcorn or use light rice bran spray for a healthier option.

Chicken especially on the BBQ.  Use as a rub before grilling.

Mayonnaise:  livens up store bought mayonnaise and homemade, use in coleslaw on sandwiches, French fries.  Homemade Mayonnaise: 2 egg yolks, 2 tsp of lemon juice & 1-2 tsp Bacon One Spice®, 200 ml rice bran oil.  Slowly pour oil with rest of ingredients while continuously whisking until thick.

Cheese dishes (mac & cheese)

Eggs (omelets, boiled scrambled) Egg & Cheese toasty: Sprinkle Bacon One Spice® over scrambled eggs instead of salt & pepper.  Spread Dijon mustard on the inside of bread.  Place your eggs and cheese on top, cook.

Sandwiches, Soups, Stews

Avocado on toast

Salad dressing; ½  cup sour cream, ½  cup buttermilk, ¼  cup mayonnaise, 2 garlic cloves, minced,2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice, 2 tsp Bacon One Spice®.  Whisk together.

Add to a basic white sauce: 2 TBSP butter, 2 TBSP flour, 2 tsp Bacon One Spice®, 1 cup milk. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add flour and stir until the butter and flour are well combined. Pour in milk, stirring constantly as it thickens.  Serve over roast pork, chicken veggies or pasta.

Potato Salad: Boil potatoes in their jackets.  Cool and peel. Cut into chunks. Add 2 celery stalks and 1 medium onion copped fine. Mix ½ cup of salad dressing with 1 tsp of Bacon One Spice® mix thoroughly and mix through your potato salad.  Top with sliced boiled eggs.  Place in refrigerator for at least two hours.

Pasta salad: Follow same directions as potato salad substituting potatoes with your favorite pasta.

Mashed Potatoes: After peeling and boiling potatoes drain thoroughly and put back into pot.  Put in desired amount of butter or spread, cover until melts.  Add warm milk or cream and mash with masher.  Then season with Bacon One Spice® (½ teaspoon per 4 medium potatoes)and whip or use electric hand blender until smooth.
