Croutons

  • 1 loaf French bread, not sliced
  • 2 cubes butter
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced fine
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Greek One Spice®
  • Garlic & Chives One Spice®

Cut bread in approximately 1/2 inch squares. Melt butter, olive oil, and garlic together. Toss bread cubes in butter mixture. Put single layer of bread crumbs on large cookie sheet. Sprinkle on both One Spice® to your taste. Bake 180° C (350°F)for 1/2 hour. Watch closely, you may want to take them out and turn with spatula half way through baking. 

Remove from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese while still hot or serve without.  Note: They are great in cream soups, on salads or if you make large enough, they’re good for a side to your spaghetti dinners.
